You know, it occurs to me that CCM and T-ara are a little like Korea's AKS and AKB48: the management might be despicable, but damn do they know how to hit the fetish buttons right. Also, their song-and-dance packages tend to be less impressive but so damn fun! *shakes fist at Roly Poly*

Never thought of that comparison before, but you're right. The CCM CEO will forever be a sleazy dirtbag but some of the creative forces in the company are having a lot of fun, and it's paying off. Too bad they can't make it work for shit with their other groups.

f(x) has become top tier this year in terms of digital sales. Half year rankings:

1. Kim Bum Soo - Please (2,314,723)

It was apparently the T-ara members who decided to do the tracksuit performance of Roly Poly. I wonder then if this was also an idea of theirs, considering how much Jiyeon was butching it up in mannerisms in the MV. Girl was totally Boram's pimp. XD

Hrm, so then f(x) has mainstream appeal, but not so much a hardcore fanbase?
