Edit: anon brought the album credits for the lyric writers hereAlbum was mostly produced by STY and HIRO, with ANDROS RODRIGUEZ, Kgro, and Hiroyoshi Hanajima taking turns with the sound engineering. Omg! Thank you for all of the info. I loved the 'kakkoi' mention about Jessica. I really love her part in "you-aholic", but in general all of them had a better chance to shine than on most of their Korean material. Seriously, I love the sound of Hyoyeon's voice.

I had no idea HIRO was one of the big Japanese producers involved. A while ago he tweeted a post in his blog which had a video of SNSD with the song "Boyfriend" and I was like "oh cool he likes them!" but I had no idea he had been producing for them all the while. Awesome.

Didn't he produce Kumi's "Your Love" as well? For sure you can also add Namie's "MY LOVE" to the list:

oh and "you're the gin inside my tonic" were some unexpectedly ~deep~ English lyrics, not gonna lie!

Gin and Tonic seems to be a meme with STY, since all of his remixes are given the "Gin and Tonic remix" title.

Lol, I'm guessing the members haven't heard that Namie song yet. Most of STY and HIRO's ballads seem to follow the exact same arrangement and hook formulas.
