That house remix sounds real promising though. And looking on the related videos there's a whole slew of mashups of Mr. Taxi and Telephone. XDDD
Metal RDR reminds of the missed awesomeness of the teaser guitars. :( Although apparently they were used for KYHD later?

The mashups of Mr. Taxi and Telephone are kinda half-assed - I want a proper mash-up!!
And yup, the teaser RDR guitars were for KYHD :/ Girls can have cool guitar too! It would be awesome if they did a rock version of RDR XDDDD

Interesting that they turned it into a minor-key cover, since the original is meant to be uplifting! This one sounds like some sort of angry "You hurt me, but I'm gonna be fine to spite you" song. XD
Also No. 1 has kind of been forever "ruined" for me because I can't not hear ITNW over it thanks to the Masa mashup. XD
The problem is that SNSD doesn't release instrumentals for their songs so extracting vocals is a pain in the ass unless you have really swanky technology.
IKR!? Rock is so dead in mainstream Kpop, and I don't know why. You can still dance to it, as Jpop shows. It doesn't even need to be proper rock, as lots of Jpop has random guitar even when it's still properly pop.

Oldschool 80s style, with a little bit of dirty synth work in the interlude under a clean countermelody. <3
His Gee remix is also groovy-rhythm based.
