I think SooYoung's an interesting character...she's got a lot of different sides to her that us fans haven't yet have the chance to see.Despite this, she's still one of the...less opaque members in the group, since we know about her family, and that the other girls are close to SooYoung's parents as well also speak of SooYoung's open mindedness in general, since the other members like Yoona(?) would probably keep their family life away from their "Soshi family life".

And with SooYoung,despite the fact that she's "underrated",but she's incredibly well-liked.
When I think of SooYoung...I think of the word "affection"-that's why her fans' love her.Her actions and gangsta/gags come off with a sort of affection with them. This "affection" could also probably be why SooYoung seems to have more Samchon and fangirls than male fans?(Although there are SooYoung male fans here,it seems).

Not only that, but I think...comedians and other random funny or media Kpop people adore SooYoung.I tend to think of her being a gangsta member and her attitude towards her members as possibly a form of affection as well (correct me on this one, if you will?).

That said, despite her projected confidence, and straightforward and honest personality,SooYoung isn't SooYoung's with her complexes. It's strange because she can be so confident, but at times she lets a little bit of her real and unsure(correct me on this one, if you will?) self.I guess it's probably got to do a lot with her childhood and her mom wanting her to be a boy,and being tanned and not dating despite being an adult. It isn't that she's unconfident...but I think it makes her feel a little unsure of herself at times, like "am I good enough"?She's gotten more "feminine" in the aspect of her being less outrightly straightforward and blunt person as before though.I think SooYoung's complexes again-make her more adorable and worthy of the "affection".(The irony here is that SooYoung's degree of "affection-worthiness" also has a side of "respect and well-liked" doesn't equate affectionate feelings things to it,so maybe I'm entirely wrong).

...I wonder how being in SNSD has changed SooYoung? We can assume her being in Japan at 12(or is that 14?) alone and away from home taught her the value of appreciating her family, and that it made her a strong and independent person.I think SooYoung can be fragile and sensitive though, but she doesn't show it,Sica talked about it before too.Or maybe, being in Japan alone for two years made her become gangsta to seem strong (of course though,it's granted that no one will like showing their weakness, except for her crying because fans will be all "aww Sooyoung bb"<3 XD).

Sorry if this post doesn't really make sense or hit on the points a lot of you were thinking about :3

And also some questions with regards to SooYoung's humor:-How does "gag comedy" SooYoung differ from the usual SooYoung comedy (Like on HB)?(Since we know SooYoung practices those gag comedy things and pulls them out to use when necessary).
