I really don't like self pimping (shameless, shameless :P), but I think that several fics of mine do fit the criteria. Actually, I'd say it's a bit of a running theme in some of my fics.

* Wasteland: Starts out as one-sided from Sasuke's side, Naruto is with Sakura, but -- well, let's say things don't remain quite as one-sided. Goal of this fic was, back then, to present this kind of situation without villanising Sakura. Warning: not strictly NaruSasu or SasuNaru. They switch.

*Arrhythmia: Co-written with syrraki . Same as Wasteland, only a more realistic approach to the topic. Warning: not romance. One-shot.

*Always There, Never Forgotten: A bit of a subversion. Naruto is together with Sakura and neglecting Sasuke ... but it's not what you'd think. Warning: Angst. One-shot.

*Only Fools Die: The only of the bunch that is ninjaverse. Darker than the rest. Warning: Angst? Weird approach?

*For the LOLZ, if you don't mind NaruSaku, That DNA Thing has Sasuke being gay and in love with Naruto. Sakura becomes his fag hag. The end.

I'm familiar with Rasengan22 from...way back in the day (I'm not new to the Naruto fandom, I've been beebopping around since about 2005) and I love her stories! I didn't know she'd left the fandom though, what? D: I think the last fic by her that I read was Talk to Me, although I can't remember if it was ever finished.

ACUTALLY, Rasengan 22 is back! I don't know if she'll reupload to fanfiction, but she's back on y!gallery!

She's also started writing more to give Give Me Shelter.

I'm not sure if it's just for the summer or what's going on, but currently Talk To Me, Lost In Translation and various one shots are up on y!gal.
