So Iljimae, that show that was pimped to me as "kdrama Robin Hood"? Yeah, I'm three episodes in AND IT'S TOTALLY GREAT.

However.

Iljimae: historical drama, Joseon dynasty. Not quite sure the exact years? So far it is half adventure/comedy and half angst/torture (so... kind of like BBC Hood) but I think it turns into more romance/drama later. DUDE YOU SHOULD WATCH. SUFFER WITH ME. (I mean, it is actually good, but I am just anticipating future suffering because LIFE HAS TAUGHT ME TO DO SO.) Here, I will entice you with pretty.

Geom/Yong/Iljimae (THIS DRAMA HAS A LOT OF IDENTITY CONFUSION, OKAY) is just plain cuuuuuute and retains a playful edge to the Robin Hood archetype AND DID I MENTION THAT HE IS SUPER DUPER CUTE. HE EVEN HAS A WEE PONYTAIL.
