From dollsome:

1. Leave me a comment saying, "Interview me."
2. I will respond by asking you 5 questions.
3. You should then update your LJ with the answers to the questions.
4. You should include this and an offer to interview someone else in the post.
5. When others comment asking to be interviewed you should ask them 5 questions.

My questions! )

Hmm, let's see if I can cut to the hard-hitting questions...!

1. Because I am still immersed in all of the new Trek film promos -- do you have a checklist for things you're hoping to see in the new movie (or subsequent films, if sequels ever enter the picture)? A checklist of things you adamantly DO NOT WANT to see in the film?

2. If any potential success spawns a return of Trek to the small screen, what would you like to see in a new series? Storyline, characters, time/place setting, etc. etc.?

3. What, in your opinion, would make for the ultimate crossover? Can be book/movie/TV series/etc.

4. What's your favourite place you've traveled to? Photos, if you have any!

5. Favourite guilty pleasure film?

Oh, I really hope you get a chance to try out Merlin! It's makes me long for the good old days of our weekly flailfest and epic rambles over Robin Hood... Actually, I have to keep reminding myself to not talk about RH in the past tense because, hey, it is still coming back! -- but it won't be the same. Sigh. (Although, oh, two related pieces of new: I'm assuming you've seen the new Spooks promo with RA? AAAAAHHHHHHHHHOMG. Although, goodness, is there a crash course on the show's plot history anywhere? Because I've only ever seen two episodes and I was kind of totally lost. And secondly, did you see this casting spoiler for next season of RH? D: D: D:) I'm sure Merlin has similar potential for heartache and tears, in the way that I keep getting involved with shows based on established stories/legends so I know that certain things have to happen a certain way and yet arrrghhhhh my brain can't help getting invested in it anyway as I skip through my happy land of denial (O HAI THERE, MORGANA. PLZ TO NOT BE TURNIN EVIL. *clings*). But for ( ... )

Thank you so much for your epically awesome Merlin answer! (Mwahaha, I'm so self-serving with my interview questions. It's part of being a diabolical mastermind. With a slight television addiction.) Chemistry is all I really need to make me happy, baby! And I think the Arthurfaces might help.

And I am DETERMINED to watch this show now, if only for Morgana. (And the opportunity to ship Morgana/Arthur! You know I'm gonna be all over that.) The second she showed up in the first episode was pretty much the only time that I was especially interested, and every time I see your icons of her, I'm all, "Must! Watch! Must! Idolize! Impending girlcrush ahoy!" She reminds me oddly of, like, Marian's evil twin, and that is enough to spark my unending adoration!

Ha, don't worry, it certainly wasn't a chore to sift through endless caps of the show. Hunting for Arthurfaces is actually quite fun, I must admit.

YOU WILL LOVE MORGANA. SHE IS LIKE INSTAGIRLCRUSH. There are definitely some echoes of Lucy/Marian in the early promo shots of her, I think, but the show itself seems much more blatantly to play up her Keira Knightley-esque features (not that I ever watched King Arthur, but they seem to be going for the same sort of medieval badassery. I APPROVE). And omg Arthur/Morgana is gorgeous, even if it's probably doomed to go nowhere. The dressing-in-armor scene I included above is just... gahhh... there are not even WORDS for how effortlessly they communicate the sexual tension between the two of them. So much pretty, so little time!

So, anyway, Merlin approves of your decision to watch his show! Oh how this fandom delights me...
