Epic Girl!crush Picspam of Doom that I started, like... a month ago... is finally finished! ...Sort of. Well. Finished in a me definition of the word, where I spent way too long working on it; started getting picky over everything; somehow picked up two new fandoms in the meantime; felt compelled to add more and more; felt guilty over stuff being ( Read more... )

EEE, I KNOW! I feel bad, though, because usually House doesn't immediately spring to mind when I think of shows with great female characters... because I feel like it has all of these amazing actresses but sometimes doesn't know what to do with them. MAKE USE OF YOUR OUTSTANDING RESOURCES, SHOW! (Or maybe I'm just blinded by House/Wilson, who knows.)

PS Its ok to get blindsided/blinded by House/Wilson it is QUITE HOT and intriguing on the mind

Glad you enjoyed! :D

And, oh nooo, not another show for me to watch and love and then angst over when I'm through, ahhhh... too much temptation! ;) Except, well, now that you mentioned it, you know I'm going to feel compelled to check it out, don't you? (Also? Looking at it now on IMDb -- how did I not previous connect Paul Haggis of Crash and Million Dollar Baby fame with Paul Haggis of Walker, Texas Ranger and Due South? Or, rather, perhaps I should ask the opposite: HOW ARE THEY THE SAME PERSON?? His TV and film personas seem to have merged in Black Donnellys, though, so now I'm intrigued...)

LLLLLLLLUUUUUUUUUUUUUCYYYYYYYYYY.

She is the best. Seeing that many overwhelmingly gorgeous pictures of her all right next to each other might have made my brain short-circuit a little. And I cannot for a single milisecond even begin to comprehend WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH THESE STUPID, STUPID WRITERS. I just -- I -- I --

The issues, they are never really gonna go away.

And, oh, Anne Dudek and Maggie Lawson and the House ladies and the Lost ladies! Also AWESOME. And I agree with what you said about Thirteen -- I haaaated her in a way that was frightening, but I do like that once she got hired, the show kind of took her in the opposite direction than Cameron 2.0. Thank God ( ... )

Siiiiiiigh I know. :/ Not to be melodramatic or anything, but it's really one of the greatest tragedies of my life thus far. I hope she goes on to enjoy a long and industrious career in roles of the happy making variety, because there is something decidedly not right about me having all of these negative, depressing associations with her wonderful person.

Ha, I kind of crack myself up in going back to read over some of my old episode reactions to 13: meh, annoyance, omg yay 13/CTB, ARGHHHH YOU RUINED MY LIFE PLZ DIAF, ohhh I kind of like you now. That's relationship growth, right there. I'm just glad that they're actually DOING stuff with her now, it seems -- and I hope they keep up the trend with the rest of the House ladies next season because, as I was saying with ace_of_spades6, there's so much to work with ( ... )

OH.MY.GOD.

Anne, Jen, & Maggie = TOTAL AWESOMENESS!!
Great pics!!

i wanted to hate Juliet on principle too, but it's just so hard. Now i absolutely love her character. I don't think I'll ever like 13. =\

Jules is too much fun, it's kind of ridiculous. :D And, well, I think there's certainly some nice potential for meaty Thirteen storylines next season... I'm guessing that a lot of viewers are still kind of iffy on the new team as a whole, so I'm sure the writers are armed and ready to convince us of why we should embrace the Ducklings 2.0 as our own. Being the big ol' nosy busybody that I am, I personally can't wait for extra backstory on everybody -- should be fun!

Ok, I have to ask (as I have not seen past Season 3 of House) what is going on in the bottom right of this picture. :-P ( ... )

It's from the S4 finale -- House is trying to figure out why he was meeting Amber at the bar (a meeting that led to them being in a bus crash in which he lost his memories of the event, she's in critical condition, etc.); his guilty subconscious is afraid he and Amber might have been having an affair behind Wilson's back; so his subconscious-as-Amber starts sexing up his subconscious-as-himself and basically it's just a masturbatory fantasy I suppose but SO SO RIDICULOUSLY HOT and unfortunately I can't find it on YouTube ( ... )

I've not seen Michelle Rodriguez in anything else so I guess it might have helped that I don't have any outside feelings on the actress... but I did feel like she was a really good fit for the part -- which, weirdly, might have been what backfired with most fans in mixing opinions about the character/actress? Hmm... It's funny, though, because, like you mentioned, I feel the exact opposite about Juliet. She's often the object of much frustration; and yet ZOMG YES Elizabeth Mitchell is the cutest. Again, though, that probably has to do with prior affiliation, as she guest starred in one of my favourite episodes of House (Damned If You Do).

(Excepting Torchwood - I really wish that show wasn't utter shite so I could enjoy that fact more.)

*sporfle* I... probably shouldn't have been drinking while reading this. But, yeah, I feel the same way about a lot of shows: I appreciate that they're on and what they're bringing to popular media, but do I hafta watch them?
