Why did Puke suddenly disappear - - oh, sorry, "go to juvie" - - for three episodes? Why exactly did they introduce the new blond dude and get rid of Matt? What happened to Will & Emma or, more specifically, why is this dentist guy capable of fixing her (what's implied seems a little degrading)?
...and completely unrealisticThis just feels like it's a very delicate topic, and I sincerely hope I do not offend, but I wanted to talk about a season 2 development: I'm a little disappointed with the Artie joins the football team twist. Last season, the writers put together a very powerful sequence (Safety Dance) that addressed not only the character's disability, but also his impossible dreams/desires. It was clever to disregard a TV truth by using reality (the actor can dance because he is not paralyzed); the writers teased the audience with a fictional what-could-have-been, while granting us deeper access to Artie's headspace. Moments like these, along with Kurt's storyline, give Glee a certain gravitas ( ... )
