Okay, guys- some of you may benefit from this, and others not. Mostly, I’m doing this because I get a lot of questions on this, and it’ll be easy to have somewhere to direct people. So, I present this tutorial to you

This is great! But I find that my browser always freezes when I use this methods, I hope you don't mind me suggesting something else.
crackified has some simple instructions on how to upload moodthemes using the admin console here, with the code for it linked here. For your themes you'd just have to change the last two numbers (80 40), which are the width and height, to the width and height of your themes (120 70), as well as changing the urls so that they're .png instead of .jpg. Then just include the .txt file in your mood theme zip file and link to crackified's post.
I've done this before (changed her code so I could use it for another mood theme) and it worked out just fine. The only glitch I had was with the "pissed off" url. I hope you don't mind me suggesting it, it's just that I can never use the custom theme maker because my browser just can't take it.
I totally understand for those people whose computers always freeze up doing it this way. I'd probably prefer to do it that way if my computer froze, too. Thanks for including the links for those people who can't do it my way.
However, like I said, I don't understand what the coding means, so if I were to mess something up, I'd have no clue how to fix it. Also, I'm pretty sure that this method only sets your mood theme for that time, rather than saving it to be used later. I like having all of my mood themes available for whenever I want to switch it from one to another.
Like I said in my disclaimer, I know that this option exists, I just prefer to use the other option, of doing it on my own without coding.
The admin console does allow you to switch mood themes back and forth, which is good since I can never stick to just one theme. But I understand why you don't include it in your themes, coding can be really tricky, I don't know really understand the theme codes myself. =/
Yeah, I don't typically like using anything I don't understand, it makes me nervous! I always think "What if it doesn't show up? What if something happens and messes up?" If I don't know how to fix it, I don't like using it, you know? I just posted this up for people like me! ^_^
I personally don't use this way, I prefer the console, but I wanted to let you know that I thought you did a great job using the screen shots and explaining everything!! Major kudos to you!!
Thanks! I'm glad you think it's helpful (even if not to you)! ^_~
Yeah, I recognize that this is the least used of the two ways, but I get so many questions concerning my mood themes, that I wanted a place to refer people to when they ask. It gets tedious typing this stuff out every time.
Oh I can imagine how hard it can be...not only for typing instructions, but answering the same question..it's almost like you wish you could say I just answered this 2 seconds ago...
Thanks, I found this post very helpful. I love all of your mood themes, they're awesome, great job. I'm letting you know I'll probably use most of your mood themes and have already given credit on my info page. Thanks a bunch ^_^
