In Cinderellabration at Magic Kingdom Belle was not called Princess like Jasmine or Cinderella she was Mamousel(sp) Belle and her Prince.
But when you ask Belle she says that her and the prince (adam) haven't gotten married yet and that she a pappa still live in the village and she just goes over there when she wants to talks to him through the magic mirror.
Oh! I'd totally forgotten that Nala and Kiara would count! ^_^ Thanks so much for pointing them out! I'm not sure Faline would count, but I know they do call Bambi the little prince... Maybe I'll watch that movie tonight and if it seems like she should count, I'll put her in!
Yeah, I don't think Maid Marion would count, though I wish she did. She would be lots of fun to icon in here! ^_^
Belle's not a princess. Not by herself anyway (i.e. not before Beast), since her father's just the village inventor dude (that's the technical term for it, of course ;))
The big question is: Princess by birth or marriage?

N.B. Pocahontas was the chief's daughter--chief is an elected position in many tribes, so it would be like the President's daughter. I'm not sure which tribe was being protrayed in the movie... and as for Tiger Lily in Peter Pan, she was the chieftaness of her tribe. But hey, it's Disney... it's not like it's historically accurate anyway, lol! (I'm Native, in case you haven't guessed by now.)
I vote that you tackle Disney PRINCES after WDW, that should be an interesting challenge. ;)

I know Pocahontas isn't technically royalty in the way we think of it, but I think that the chief's daughter is a similar enough position, and lots of people say she should count as a princess. I think I'd like to include her, if only cause I would love to icon her some. And with Tiger Lily, they call her princess in the movie, so I think I'll count her, too. Thanks for your input, though! I really appreciate it!

I am so glad you are doing a disney world set. Could you *please* make a nice Jungle Cruise icon. I can't find one anywhere and I firmly believe the Jungle Cruise needs more love.
