Last night, I watched like... the most horrendous thing ever in the universe. So horrendous I couldn't watch it all. I'm probably posting about it as part of the healing process

Where can I watch this shitfest? I remember when the show opened in San Francisco a few years ago, but I never saw it. I haven't finished reading The Vampire Lestat, though. Should I read that first?
OMG read it first! Or else you will end up thinking Nicolas is hot, Gabrielle is a wandering pussy, Armand is the devil and Lestat is a retard... oh well, he kinda is, but not full retard!
Haha I love this. Lestat has a reputatio nfor being terrible. I think one of my favorite performers was in the original cast tho.. Carolee Carmello. I might have hallucinated her being in it though.
See, I had the opposite reaction to Wicked. I think it's pretty terrible and a poor musical, but when I saw the tour, I was amazed by Elphaba (Marcie Dodd).
lol I don't know why it didn't occur to me to think that Lestat had flopped in a month for a reason. And lol Wicked. I first watched it with Eden Espinosa who was an underwhelming Elphaba, and whoever her Glinda was ate the stage. I think that it's a very weak musical, it has some good music, but it's so inconsistent, especially in the first act, that it's hard to get into it.
