I just got a Mac mini and I'm a Mac Virgin! What advice can you give me? I need a client for using Yahoo and Aim messengers too. I used to use Gaim for windows.
Adium Using the GAIM libraies, but with the best interface known to the IM world. Period.
Also, put your friends in the Address Book (located in the Applications folder). A lot of applications share the info you store in there. For example: When I add your name, IM names, and e-mail addresses, Mail.app will display your real name (not just e-mail address) and Adium will display your real name (not just the screen name). Not to mention it will automatically add people to your buddy list, reguardless of IM service.
Thanks! I've been using Adium and it's pretty good. I wish i could have the Yahoo smileys, but I can deal. I have tried Safari and Camino... but Firefox is definately where it's at.
