Your description at walmart was HILARIOUS...I especially like the part about finding yourself in a line just to get out. Aww, good times. I had to work on Black Friday, but I did drag matt to the mall around 6am for some clothes at Eddie Bauer (he scored, too). I was going to attempt the Gap but it just wasn't worth the commotion, so that was it. My experience was not all that exciting, but it was good to see people out spending and boosting the 'ol economy. Cassandra

You can say that again! Bryan and I did a little driving after Wal-Mart and we slid through the Tanasbourne area to get a sense of the crowds. It was overrun. I heard from my brother that Washington Square was a war zone as well. If the crazy crowds of people we saw all over the west side of Portland are any indication, the recession is over and the so-called recovery is totally here. I mean, even I'm caught up in the holiday spending spree. My PS3 arrived Friday evening and I've got all this other stuff floating my way. It's gonna be a merry Christmas indeed!
