Hehehe the only thing that really scared me about having mono was that I got it right at the start of a new term at college. I really didn't want to be behind. The illness itself isn't /that/ bad (Constant dry mouth was the worst of my symptoms) but I did have a good time sleeping upwards of 18 hours a day for two weeks. It's the closest I'll ever come to truly becoming a cat. It was nice.

And also, when I eventually did get back to EOU, I was forced to drop several classes so I had a lighter workload that whole term (Spring of '02). That was the term I was finishing up "Imaginings" and if it weren't for having so much more time than everyone else to finish and polish it like I did, it wouldn't have been what it was. So I have getting mono to thank for "Imaginings" turning out as well as it did.
