Ok, this isn't really an original idea but why not expand your "Imagings" plot? Sort of "Butterfly Effect" the lives of all the people. Why is she there? What's the point of it? Was it all a dream? Perhaps something more omnimous... get very descriptive.

Hmmm, Imaginings? Ehh I think I'd like to go somewhere new. If I had to stay true to the original short film, I'll wind up with the same problem I had two years ago- 30 days is not enough time to write anything that requires adherence to real life or another story. I'd be spending way too much time going back and fleshing out a story that worked as a 22-minute film but may not be interesting enough as a full-on novel.

But the real truth of the matter is that I want to write something that I myself would love to read. "Imaginings: The Novel" isn't something I'd love to read. Heck, it truly wasn't even a movie I wanted to make back in the day but I ran out of time and ideas all those years ago. Now, I'd like to try a fresh story.
