Sitting here at the web2.0 summit, watching Al Gore, last speaker.
He got a standing ovation as he walked in - not sure what he's actually going to talk about, though. ;)

neat. at the conferences i go to the last speaker always gets shafted--everyone else taking off early, etc. it doesn't sound like gore did though! hope he was fun to listen to.

Yup, they were pretty smart. ;)

Gore turned out to be quite good - he's smart, passionate, and full of facts. The discussion bounced around from climate change to politics to citizen journalism, and he stuck around a good 15 minutes after time was up to answer questions.

Really makes me wonder how much less the world would suck if he'd been (successfully) elected president...
