Wristphones
The wristwatch/phone hybrid used to be the way forward. Now it’d be considered clunky or annoying to use - either a case of too much bulk or no room for buttons - and associated with all sorts of bizarre RSI. The delicious irony is that today most people use mobile phones to tell the time.

Sometimes I think I'm going to be the last person on earth still wearing a wristwatch!

While I'm teaching, I want to do frequent quick checks on the time -- a wristwatch is far more convenient than anything I'd have to pull out of my pocket. Plus some of my outfits don't have pockets. :P

Good b-teamer holy grail choice, btw! Didn't Penny in Inspector Gadget have a video wristwatch-phone (thus combining this one with your original example)?
