June Bride (FF8 drabble, Seifer/Squall)

History repeats itself at every chance.
Twenty years ago today, Squall Leonhart married the daughter of his birth father’s long lost love. The general consensus was that destiny had finally corrected a grievous wrong, and so it was.
Twenty years later, the single child from that union stands at the altar all in virgin white, smiling sweetly at a striking young blonde. Her normally indulgent father has adamantly refused to give her permission to be with this man, and the same is true of his.
They are young and in love.
Unlike their fathers, they know they would be forgiven.

A/N: In case people didn’t understand…Squall’s daughter eloped with Seifer’s son. Just as Squall married the child of his father’s lost love, his own daughter married his.
I am thinking of expanding this into a whole fic (ficlet?) named "Sins of the Fathers"...because I'm one sick puppy like that.
