That 'toon thing

Started out as a comment on a friend's journal, but I'm thinking it's worthy of posting here as well. Mostly about how the recent furore over the Islam-critical toons and how the case is IMHO far from being a clear-cut thing since there are so many issues coming into play

I'd be far more upset about the cartoons if I knew for certain that they were made by a right-wing nationalist nutter in order to turn people against immigrants and anyone with a different religion

According to a Danish blogger, that's exactly why they were made.
