They all seem to have amusingly-shaped faces, which is something. And several have mad eyes in those pictures. But yes, the difficulty would be deciding which of them to satirise as boring...

At the moment, I'm in fucking LOVE with mad nationalist guy. His face has been the easiest to caricature so far. This guy has the potential to become the Finnish Boris Johnson, damn it, there's so much to mock. Politics AND a face made for comedy. Aaaahhaha.

Voi Luoja. Eka kerta kun n:in ton ja eek. Brrr. En voi kirjoittaa sanaa nahda oikeassa taivutusmuodossa ilman aakkosia, koska en todellakaan halua mitaan naimiseen liittyvaa ton kanssa. Todella suomalaisia ulkomuotoja tosin. *sigh*

Ah! Your elections are a week before ours. And here everyone is complaining that they're being held in winter, with an election campaign straddling the holidays.

Here people are complaining that the prez elections are two months before the usual date for parliamentary elections, so people forget to vote because they think the date is later... that's one of the reasons why I got the job, because the people making the site thought the elections were going to be in March! So it's a bit of a rush...

I've just been to the local elections office... My parents had received voters' information cards and I hadn't, so I went to see what was up, and it turns out my name wasn't even ON the list. W.T.F. I'd just voted last November at the municipal level! And I've always been at the same address, and I've voted at the Federal level before.

So I had them put my name back on. (Do NOT mess with a feminist where suffrage is at stake.) Luckily that went pretty easily. But, sheesh.

Now that would be something if they all shaved their heads to look more like Kekkonen.

Hear hear!

I can just imagine walking past the row of pictures - Kekkonen, Kekkonen, Kekkonen, Kekkonen...

Oh yeah. Hee. They'd also be a lot easier to match:)... I'm having trouble trying to fit them all into the same blank head template, aurgh. Can't possibly make different shapes to fit within it. Turns out it's much more difficult than the actual drawing bit. Gah.

Oh, they don't look that bland; I think they're all very caricaturable. Just exaggerate their face shapes and any odd features. I noticed a down-turned smile, Bush-tyle eyebrows, hamster cheeks, a funny little hobbitty mouth...

[looks at own icon] Could doing an identikit of each help?

I can't caricature things that aren't there, though:). Like mouths or eyebrows, which most candidates seem to lack...

I've more or less done identikit ones by drawing 'em:). But like on the avatar generators, one has to put the parts of the face in slightly different places...

They've all got more eyebrows than me. When in doubt, just make every feature more whatever it is (larger, smaller, more curved...).

See the gallery I just put up on my latest post:)...

Halonen has her trademark pencilled-on eyebrows, being ginger like us--those are fantastic for caricaturing.
