Oh yeah, I've been seeing those around as well, in shades of brown and then some turquoise ones... but *gah*! The bracelets are rather timeless as well, they'd go well with a Rococo or a Victorian shirt/dress. This is one of the reasons why I'm hoarding stuff now, timeless romantic stuff doesn't end up at fleamarkets as often as horrid, strange fad things. I see far more terrible rainbow-coloured frocks and neon monstrosities at fleamarkets than, say, peasant shirts and frilly things... and ee, the earrings are similar to the ones on the woman in this icon even if you can't see them clearly. I love, love, love timeless stuff.
I packaged your wristwarmers but not in time to send them yet, meh (will have to go to the post office to check the exact postage anyway since I don't trust my kitchen scales). Will try to get to the post office on Monday.
Yay, can't wait! If I go to Star One again, I'll wear them.
I'm a sucker for earrings, bracelets, and necklaces. I'm always on the lookout for interesting ones at the craft market. Must see if I can lure my Aussie friend there when she comes to stay later this month.
Have a look at http://www.hm.com and WHIMPER. Glad they have an online shop, but don't know if they deliver to NZ. There are some pearly and lacy chokers that are just so damn gorgeous... I have one of them but haven't seen the lacy/crocheted ones anywhere, *wail*...
