Click through for extra fluff. And you can still see the traces of that scar in the middle of her nose from when she ripped a bit of it off on Christmas Eve. I'm glad it's healing now, going back to its normal liquoriceness!

Birthday facebumps from me and Rosa to the Grand Old Lady!

Horn-sign scritches, haha! A lot of the things cats like can look rather weird to an onlooker... Rosa and I have this morning ritual where I first brush her all over with one of those brushes that looks like a tiny carding board, and then I brush her cheeks with the soft bristle brush. After that she's so happy that we have to sit and cuddle for a while. :)

She also likes me to make a ring of my thumb and forefinger when we're cuddling, and then pushes her muzzle into it. Or wants me to cover her eyes with my hand. I'm sure it looks really strange, but she likes it!

Did you see that the Music For Cats guy is making a whole album? I've supported it on Kickstarter, so I'll get a download of the whole thing when it's done.

Awww, morning snuggles:3 And yeah, a lot of these things could look weird to onlookers. I've had people looking all shocked and thinking I'm even scritching a cat weird (and in this really condescending way, too, like I'm an idiot) when I do the hard super-scratching with Noki. It's actually been pretty offensive, because it's what the damn cat wants and not me not knowing how to pet a cat. Maybe she's just kinky by cat standards, but it works!

Rosa likes hard scritches on her cheeks too, it's just that I don't want to use the "carding board" for that since I'm afraid that the metal pins will get caught in her lips or chin and hurt her. When I scratch her cheeks with my fingers, I do it really hard, harder than anywhere else on her body!
