I'M SO SORRY FOR THE HORRIBLE THINGS I INFLICT ON YOUR COUNTRYMAN. His whoreface is begging for it, though.And thank you! The timing was really tricky and to be honest, trying to work with the talky bits at the start and the end has been a challenge to pretty much anyone who's ever vidded it. I don't think I've seen a single vid that matched them perfectly, so I knew I wasn't going to be able to do that either. But I was also really surprised at how easy it was to sync the cuts to the waveform audio timeline underneath the video clips in Vegas--I thought it would all be just horible, brain-breaking guesswork and hovering over the Pause button, ready to hit it and hope I get it right! (Ah, flashbacks to the good old recording-stuff-off-the-radio-on-tapes days there

I can see how the talking bits in the beginning and end must be the most complicated part of the whole video - but they fit in general and that's the most important part. Lip synching everything perfectly is probably close to impossible.

The youtube clip was blocked (stupid GEMA *sigh*) but the Tumblr vid worked. Oh, and now I see you've uploaded it on vimeo, too - just checked it out: that one's working fine.

I'm not sure if this is hysterically funny or really evil re: the huge ToB spoilers. I laughed and yet I felt an intense burning agony inside.

It's both. I felt awful having to use it, too, because the scene genuinely squicks me! It's shockingly explicit for a family movie and I'm sure I saw it as a kid because it's so horrifying. I'd expect to see something like that in a horror movie or a Tarantino so I could be better prepared for it--I wonder if that was cut in some countries, because here they used to cut stuff like that up until the Nineties (hunting for uncut horror movies on VHS from halfway across the planet was... interesting). It's not just that someone gets shot with an arrow because I was fine when I saw Robin Hood shoot someone full of them, but the fact that they show it sinking into his brain and him screaming from pain that's the horrifying thing. And even more awful now that I really feel like the poor guy doesn't deserve it. *HUGS HIM TIGHT AND KEEPS HIM FROM HARM*

Still, Connie was a silly bastard and was basically asking for this vid :) Glad you liked it!

Well, if "professional" means "clips just strung together to music," then I suppose I've got the hang of that now. I'm going to experiment with filters and arty editing effects before I unleash any of my Epic Vidding Dreams. I only have one at the moment, though. And it really bugs me because I'm sure I had at least one or two B7 ones back in the day, but can't for the life of me remember what they were. (I'm sure there's potential for a fucking *hilarious* Like a Boss one for Avon, though...)
