A day of cats from Tampere and Berlin and Lahti

Before the neighbours turn me into a complete wreck again, I need to point out today has been full of three wonderful cats I love from the bottom of my heart:

Oh my! Is the location sharable? I think I might like to see this too. I really seem to like the old silents of his a lot.

See my comment to Cavefelem in the other comment to this post--it doesn't have this movie yet, but a metric fuckton of other Connie films.

The only problem with Ingmarsarvet is that only Swedish intertitles exist for it at the moment, and I'm waiting for someone to contribute English subs for it on the site I found it from. They may never show up, though, but I think I'll wait for a while. Even if I think that when it's a silent, it's really easy to just type the card text into Google Translate or some other place like that and then follow the movie pretty well (I've done that with some of his German silents; it's way easier to make sense of those that way). But I don't know how people would feel about me upping the Swedish thing without subs?

I think I'd be interested in seeing it even without translation. Though I hadn't thought of the Google Translate thing. I'd probably watch it once to see it and then type in the titles for the second viewing.

Actually, someone's just uploaded ropey English subs for it and I'm in the process of fixing them, so you might get an upload with subs in the near future:). If you're on Tumblr, just follow/bookmark the veidtveidtveidt blog and I'll up the movie and the subs there as soon as I'm finished. Shouldn't take too long with a silent movie. *knocks on wood*
