I've also bought hypo-allergenic food for her, after the visit to the vet's on Thursday, but haven't opened it yet since I have to give her wet food until her FLUTD (feline UTI) is gone. What kind did you get for Noki?

I feel pretty good about it being venison, for political reasons. I try to eat organic meat or game as much as possible myself, but with cat food you don't really have much choice. But if this truly is a "single protein" food, and all the protein does come from peas and venison, it should mean that it doesn't contain any scraps from industrial pig farms, right? (It sucks that you can only buy these specialty "prescription" foods at the vet, though -- the veterinary hospital is way out on the other side of town from me.)

We got some new grainless high-protein biscuits for the girls; I'm sure it's much better for them and they don't need to eat as much.

And yeah, those high-protein thingies are good. The new stuff I got for Noki seems to be making her less thirsty than the Orijen did, which is good.
