So, apparently, even marah_sarie was obsessed with The Great Mouse Detective as a kid. And I've only recently learned reasonabsurd and versaphile had a thing for him as well. And I, well... I used to cut his pictures out of cereal packets and spend hours browsing them and pining over them. And there are other pervy mouse fanciers in the wider Sherlockian fandom. That movie made me the world's tiniest Vincent Price fan, when I was but a wee thing.

And also a Holmes fan, but Mr Price came first.

David Tennant is an adorable rodent. The BBC mice I drew blew up on Tumblr. Those mice are so versatile!

I generally fell in love with Robin Hood because I've always hated injustice and bullies and general unfairness, and he would kick the arses of wrongdoers. Robin Hood sticks it to The Man, yo! (And then Robin of Sherwood came along and absolutely slew little me with awesome.) No wonder I also went nuts about Blake, later...

I was lucky enough to see this in the cinema while on holiday with the family in the US, was great then and still great now. Fidget still makes me laugh.

ObWhoRef - Basil's voice was Alydon the Thal in the first Cushing movie.
