Dumb Granada Holmes DVDs question

Can anyone tell me if this set is the remastered one? It's just that Amazon have it on sale and it's down to £26.97 from £119.99, which is quite a bargain... I seem to remember there's a huge difference in video quality between various DVD releases (and that the big green box thing had the worst transfers) but is this the better release (just in

That's the set I have, and it's a good'un. It doesn't say it's remastered anywhere on it, but I can at least vouch that it does look very pretty. Or maybe that's just because of Jeremy Brett.

Oooh. Can you point me to any of your caps from it so I can check? (Not if it's too much trouble, what with your computer woes an' all.) I've seen various DVD rips and know the quality varies like crazy between the various releases.

And *sigh* he was so incredibly beautiful. And you don't see acting like that any more. Except with Hamlet!Simm.
