Excellent! :-D I find it hard sitting up straight too when my legs are folded But I think it's just general unfitness in my case.
I used to do a sun salutation that much be simplified because I didn't find it hard. I should start again. I asked my teacher what I should do in between classes and she said "Breathe" meaning properly, but that's one thing I do do. Inspired my our conversation yesterday I thought I'd start some balance exercises I found on the web which are very like some of the weight ones I used to do and some of the yoga I used to do. And maybe add weights back in too. I have the time these days; I need the inclination, and my performance in yoga and walking group has given me a wake-up call.
My teacher had us do a dynamic moving pose a couple of weeks ago that she said was a type of yoga used a lot for people with PTSD. Maybe it was ashtanga? I enjoyed it a lot as I can balance much batter when I'm moving than holding a static pose.
I remember doing some yoga a year or so back, was pleasantly surprised at the work you had to put in at some parts. I also found out I have (and still do) terrible balance; my feet start wobilling like creation is tearing apart beneath them. Press-ups helped me with bewb-weight, and back muscles build up over time which is helpful as well
