Folk nerds! Anyone know which artist's version this wonderful rendition of Lord Randal(l) is? The whole ballad gives me the shivers. And in the good sort of juicy dark ballad sort of way.

It reminds me of a Swedish ballad about about a young girl who is dying and is asked who'll get all her stuff -- and everyone gets something, except her stepmom who gets hellfire and damnation.

It's a lovely rendition.

I'm pretty sure I've heard that one. That whole thing about someone saying they need to go to bed and then it runs out that they're fucking dying is a great plot twist.
