I have Baroque nerd fail. I can't recognise the dude on Dave's shirt. And it's going to bug me until my head explodes or until I find out.

Damn you, now I'm also curious.

And I hope he never stops wearing suit jackets. That's his uniform.

Apparently he's been spotted on the set of Rex wearing a three-piece suit. \o/ SEXITIEMS.

Also, that beard makes him look like Charlie Day.

I'd need a bigger pic of the T-shirt print to be sure, but it looks a bit like the first Duke Of Marlborough, though he had slightly thicker hair...

Yeah, Marlborough had a bigger wig and was a bit chubbier. This guy might be from slightly earlier and he seems to have his own hair, from before those wigs came in (so possibly pre-Restoration).

I was about to say re the chubby bit that that's why I'd need a better pic of it (cos it isn't quite flat and the guy might actually be chibbier when seen properly) but I see you've found it anyway and it's Fairfax...

I thought it could've been King Chuck 2.0 myself, but I don't know why the hell Dave would be wearing a t-shirt of him. First I thought it'd be some scientist, for geek cred and all that, but a scientist probably wouldn't have been portrayed with armour. It's hard to tell until someone finds a picture that matches exactly.

I'm curious too...

And why does this entry not have an "eyebrow porn" tag?

Because it's not a frothy entry;). And eyebrow porn is pretty much a given with a Dave.

I was just going to propose that it was one of the Charles', but I see I've been beat. History major, fail.

Charles II was my strongest candidate, but I still don't know WTF he'd be doing on a t-shirt (and why Dave would be wearing one, because that would be making a pro-Royalist statement, pretty much). Logically, Dave would seem to be the type to wear a shirt with a picture of a geekier dude, so I was thinking of philosophers and scientists (I thought it might be Pascal, but he had a rounder face and thinner hair). *keeps on looking*
