Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee! Really glad you like it, babes. I love really good children's books so hard. Wind in the Willows never gets old. I want them to live in an older, experienced and worldly man/young, innocent boy relationship like Ratty/Moley FOR-EVAR.

Also, I love how in WitW the chapter with the Sea Rat is a threat to the Moley/Ratty OTP. The Cosgrove-Hall stop-motion animated series was even dodgier with the slash because every time the Sea Rat said "and we were feasting"... it sounded like he said "fisting". <3

Yes! And when Mole becomes so dependant on Ratty, so fascinated by him, that he forgets about his own home. That chapter where he finds his little mole hole again makes me cry. And The Piper is my favourite chapter of all, it's so unashamedly Pagan. *sigh* I love that book so much and now I don't know where my copy is.
