He deserves it. Man, I'm so glad The Prisoner exists, because without that I would've never had the chance to experience Portmeirion first-hand. It's seriously the most beautiful place I've ever been to.
It's the least we could do. Not only are we a bunch of fans, but a few years ago we themed our entire convention around The Prisoner.
It was one of the first television prgrams that really made me question things outside the program itself. I will never stop appreciating things that make me think.
Yeah. To this day, there hasn't been anything exactly like it. There's been some amazing existential stuff, but none of it has been as in-your-face and as aggressive as the Prisoner when it came to shaking people out of their complacency. And I love it so fucking hard for that.
