Poukkoilusta tulee vaan mieleen festareilla poukkoilu ja yleison meno pahkinoiksi! En edes pida isoista ihmisjoukoista, mutta CMXn festarikeikoilla on aina oma magiansa. Kirjaimellisesti. Perkeleen Yrjana.

Viharakkaus on hiano juttu. Ja tuo on ehka ihan vitun kliseinen biisivalinta kun se on kuulemma yksi kaikkien aikojen top 5 suomalaisista rokkibiiseista (ties minka galluppien mukaan), mutta iski lujaa tanaan. Yrpa on kova jatka.

Someone's put the song up with a really, really cheesy romantic slideshow on YouTube, here. It's probably faster than me trying to explain it:)...

I have an inkling that you might dig AWY's lyrics. He has a thing about multilayered, intertextual crap with mythology and religious metaphor thrown in and always plays with the juxtaposition of the sacred and the profane, of love and disgust and hope and despair and basically I just adore him to bits. The stuff is almost impossible to translate, though, just because he likes to use words and images that can have multiple meanings.

And it's phonetically prettier than the English equivalent ("I am yours"), but I may be biased.

You may be biased, but I agree with you.

I should probably include a crappy translation or something, but I am TOO BUSY SWOONING. And it probably won't sound as lovely in translation. *points to YouTube link in earlier comment* It's just such a lovely, energetic, catchy song. About love-hate and leather sheets and beasts with two backs and golden masks and lust and want and need and determination and surrender and dreams about animals that can speak and ALL SORTS OF AWESOME SHITS.

It's such a small, weird and obscure language that at least it'd give you geek cred. Tolkien did a lot for the language's reputation, I must admit.

Finnish is a phonetically gorgeous language. It's a language I don't understand a lick of, but I could listen to it being spoken or sung for hours.

You could read me the weather reports or your grocery list or something and I'd be floating on a cloud of squee.
