Well I know you've read most of them because you recced most of them :) As you can see, I usually try to link to one of your recs if I know it exists. I know that when I see rec lists that other people post I always want to know why they liked a fic so much, which is why your recs are so helpful. I didn't want to clutter up these lists even more with me blathering on about each fic, so having outside recs to link to solved that problem for me.
But if there's a fic you haven't read on the list and you end up reading and liking it, do let me know! I'd be really pleased to have been able to suggest a good fic to you. (And if you don't like something as much as me, you can still let me know--I don't mind having thoughtful discussions of fics).

I see you linked me! And it kills me because LJ hasn't been sending me any notifications from my community when it's mentioned and I really, really love it when someone does. <3

Wow, I'm really sort of stunned and shocked to see my fic in there! First of all, I couldn't believe that I was actually writing in 2012! It seems so long ago, and I'm so new, and and and. LOL! That has given me a real surprise.

Secondly, I am amazed to see my story up there with those others. Some of them are real all-time favourites of mine and I'm very flattered indeed that you put my fic there with them.

Well you know I'm a fan, I wasn't kidding about that :) And actually, as I was making these lists I kept thinking, where is birds? Why haven't I listed any of her fics yet, did I somehow miss something? And then I realized it was because (as far as I can tell) you didn't start writing HD until 2012! So hard to believe!
When I (eventually) get to 2013 I already know there are several fics from you I'll be listing. 2014 is challenging, though because my two favorite fics from you in 2014 were the Draco/Albus ones, and these are strictly H/D lists! I still liked your other fics, but for some reason Unguarded and Undone outshone the rest :)

Well, when I saw your list I couldn't believe I *was* writing in 2012! I feel so new and 2012 seems ages ago. But, no, the first thing I ever wrote was for career fair 2012.

I can completely understand you preferring my Draco/Albus from last year. I think I hit on something with Unguarded that I hadn't quite managed in any other fic.

I'm just delighted that you like any of my stuff enough to consider including on a list like this. <3 Thank you.

Dear snow, thank u for these lists, I discovered many I hadn't read yet. Btw, idk if u've read vaysh's works, please read "we are legend" written by the same author if u haven't :). Swear, it's really good. Also, have u read crysyalgreene's works-- her most prominent work is "fairies, father's n forevers" series. Both the author can be found on AO3... :)

PS-- plz make a list for 2016 too:)

I'm so glad you like the lists! And thank you very much for the recs - vaysh is an excellent writer and a good friend :) I haven't yet had the pleasure of reading crystalgreene's fics.

I'm very behind on reading Drarry fics in 2016, so I don't know if I'll be able to make another list!
