Crowd-sourcing HD smoochfest: Progress Report #1

In case you didn't know, we have started a new crowd-sourcing project! This time we are gathering data on all fics posted to hd-smoochfest from 2009-2014. Once again, the initial goal is to get more information to find out Who tops more?, but there's no reason these datasets couldn't be used to answer any number of interesting fandomstats questions in the

Have been skimming through some with little data or low word-count - the fic "Hooded" has the wrong url link. (Goes to "Trust Exercises" which is below it in the chart. Was afraid to change that myself.)

Thanks for the heads up! I'll go and see if I can fix that now. The URL field is a little tricky because I did some things to make it sort nicely :)

Fixed. Let me know if you see any other URL errors.

You can, of course, fix any errors yourself if you like, but I do like getting the heads up because I keep a backup copy of the data on my laptop (in a different format) and I try to keep it in synch. If something innocuous gets changed, I might not notice, and might not adjust it in the backup. (Yes, I know that there are easier ways to back things up, and I do that too, but my fic database is a larger animal that doesn't play as well with Google docs) :)

"Trend-setting and Trust" links instead to "Unlocking Harry's Dress Code"

I'm just getting the word-counts entered for ones that don't have that, so anyone who wants to look at one knows what they're getting into.

I almost never remember who tops so I can't enter anything from memory!

I'd rather not try to fix the links... leaving that part to you!

You didn't mess up a lot - don't be so hard on yourself! You made one mistake out of like 200 entries. I would have been surprised if you *hadn't* made at least one mistake. Goodness knows I made several myself :)
