Apparently, the term for fancy events where you pay a lot of money for lousy food is 'rubber chicken'. At least you got some rubber pita.

And as for the democrats' plans - unfortunately, good government initiatives are not very energizing. I suspect it will not garner them much attention, and the 'no plan' label will stick.
