Oh, that's interesting! Can babies poo in the womb? How unfortunate if they can...

Yep, they can, but it's bad if they do. When you have your "bloody show", which is the first sign of labour, and is when the "mucus plug" falls out so basically you get bloody mucus on your knickers, if it is brown it means your baby has done a poo inside you which is a sign that he could be stressed out.
At least that's what I remember... I could be wrong.
Also, babies constantly do wees and then drink it (by breathing in the amniotic fluid) while they're in the womb. It's all very interesting!!

Also, the first poo babies do is almost always black and sticky, like tar, because it's the poo from the amniotic fluid and such in their tummies.
