Good Lord. That's all that can be said.

I remember Dr. House said the whole horse/zebra thing. I think it's a common saying amongst doctors. Of course, Dr. House regularly tended zebras, so... I'm rambling now.

So, was it NOT fibromyalgia, or is there still fibromyalgia? Fibro and Lyme's mimic each other quite well. My mom has advanced Lymes. We complain together.

Oh, man, that's awful. Lyme disease is pretty much endemic around here, because of all the #$%^&*( deer. I mean, they're cute and all, but the step out in front of cars ALL THE TIME and they have ticks which carry Lyme disease, therefore - lots of Lyme disease here in Northern VA.

And of course, the Lyme weakens your immune system, so you get all sorts of opportunistic infections, which is probably where your secondaries came from. Damn.

However, Doxycycline will get rid of it. And then you should start to feel better, even though you have some damage from having the disease for so long. S

omething your Dr may not have told you is that Doxcy will also kill off your gut flora - it gets ALL the bugs - so have your eye out for probiotics to take if your start getting an upset stomach. Ask me how I know.

But at lease you have a diagnosis.
