I want to pass on a warning--hopefully it's nothing serious, but one of the tree's large squirrels has been sighted roaming the residential areas, apparently looking for food. I caught a glimpse of it in Section 3, and one of today's patients from Section 4 reported a sighting as well. I'm not sure about the other areas. The patient was in for ( Read more... )

I don't know why I find that more surprising than the giant snakes, but. Wow.

Most of the animals around here are oversize. The wild ones that live in the tree, at least.

I haven't gotten a chance to see much of the wildlife just yet. Guess it makes sense, though: giant tree begets giant animals.

Do they tend to cause much in the way of problems?

Not too often. But in August, there was an attack by two giant spiders.
