There's no reason to panic, but I'd like all medical workers to keep a close eye on things today, whether or not you're officially on duty. Between the search parties and lack of one of the access point bridges, we may need to move quickly with little warning.

A wise idea. It never hurts to be prepared.

It doesn't help that some people panic and injure themselves when they'd have been fine otherwise.

Quite true. It's difficult to not have a panic reaction in a situation like this, of course, but causing problems through carelessness is the last thing we need.

We've gone through enough crises that people should be able to handle themselves by now, disheartening as it may be to realize this.

I will not be in until the evening.

[ooc: a few pen taps]

Is Lezard there?

I'll most likely still be here then. With everything that's happened, I think it's better for someone with seniority to be on duty.

No. And by now, we should have heard from him one way or another.

I agree. I suggest that you and Cross share the supervisory duties until we establish the whereabouts of Lezard.

I apologise for my absence, but things are a little... fraught.

That's not a problem.

I think we all understand. [Pentaps] There is something I might want to discuss with you later, but...nothing urgent. It can wait.
