House search has started

I thought I was going to wait until next spring to start looking for a new house, but since I've started looking I've realized how much I really want to move on and find a new place. My current house has been good (bought new in Dec 1998), but it has several things that just annoy me in terms of functional layout: master bath is a shared bath too

After all the work you've put into the kitchen, among other things, you've certainly added to the value. Sounds like it's still a pretty sluggish market out there, though.

I've got a few things I want to do here (next up: replacing plain white tile in my kitchen with Caesarstone or similar product) before I move on. And, I do want to move on. I live in a 6 unit townhome complex, and it's just too small a number to keep a Homeowners' Association going properly. Only two of us are committed to it, and the others seem to have the mindset of many apartment renters - everything is someone else's problem to fix.
