panic attack

Ive heard from alot of people i know that panic attacks are horrible, but i never really understood them until i expericed one last night. You see my church was having this hayride/dinner thing and i decided to go. I haven't been to any church get togethers in for about a year or two so i thought it would be fun. I couldn't have been more wrong. i

aw, I know how you feel 'cause I get nervous a lot, and I don't know if they are panic attacks but they sure feel like it. And most of the time, it's because I'm in a social situation that makes me nervous. And I've been to parties like that too. Yeah, I always go to the bathroom to calm myself down. I don't know if this is relevant but I tend to breathe through my mouth when I get nervous and breathing through my nose always calms me down. Otherwise I feel light-headed (and am started to feel that way just talking about it...eep) But anyway, I think you should join track! I joined cross-country two years ago for one year and I had never participated in a sport or been very athletic (still am not now).. it starts out tough just 'cause you're not used to the exercise but it gets better and really makes you feel better too. Running can be very therapeutic sometimes, clears your head. And you get to know people without really concentrating on talking to them 'cause you're all in it together and doing something.

Yea the more i think about trying track, the more i wanna do it. when i go for a jog around town it really does clear my head alot.

Sorry you had a panic attack, i know those suck really bad...but yeah...i wish things would have gone better, and that trip to VB sounds pretty sweet, im kinda excited :) But i hope you have a good monday and i suppose ill talk to ya later, toodles.

thanks, yea it really did suck. I think the virgina beach trip will be fun too. As long as we don't have to play to much.
