I tried to join a few times but the website kept crashing when I got to the "submit" portion of the registration process :(

yeah, I've heard of other people having loads of problems with the site. Half the time I go there I can't even draw because the server is too bogged down or something. :(

Yeah, I had a similar problem where I registered and it created the account but then died while trying to send the confirmation email, so now my account is stuck in a state where it's inactive and I have no way to activate it, since phpBB (piece of crap that it is) has no "resend activation email" option. I emailed the admin but I don't think it's likely they'll actually take care of it. Oh well!
