Sorry, but season 7 killed my respect for Gibbs.

They certainly seem to be trying that sort of thing, don't they? I mean, season 6 obliterated my respect and enjoyment of the Ziva character, season 7 irreparably destroyed the Gibbs character, and they've been systematically doing their best to make me hate Tony since season 5 (mostly in season 6 & 7, though.)

May I presume that you didn't like this episode?

I caught the last 15 minutes. Will watch the first 45 at 11PM.

I just could not *believe* the ending. As usual, the writers went for the cheap shot at Tony "because it's funny". But it's like there's a blind spot where Gibbs is concerned on their part.

They set him up to let Gibbs and his mother-in-law get away with murder. Were both victims scum-suckers? Yes. Did they deserve to be murdered for retribution? No.

And to see that image, in light of what Gibbs has done? It was sickening.

BTW - I loved your idea for Norfolk or some other MCRT squad. Awesome.

And to think they had me hoping season 8 would be so much better after the first 2 eps.

Ok I'll think positive until I can find it ... though I saw the promo for next week. I like the look that. I do hate what they've done to NCIS since the writers strike back when S5 was airing. Since then (with the exception of a few epis) NCIS has gone down hill.
