Wednesday was my father's birthday, and since the Devils were playing at home on it for the second straight year, we did a hockey game. Last year I got the tickets through the Devils' beat writer for the Star-Ledger -- they were upper level and I still had to pay for them. Who can't be a hockey fan with $250 seats? Sounds awesome either way, though - now you just have to cross your fingers for the suite and free booze next time.

Also: this sounds like a "duh" kind of date move, for people who are looking for ideas in that sort of thing.
