Five gtop drabbles

Valentine -> February fourteenth: not a day with particular meaning for Seunghyun, but for Jiyong, it should have.
Movie Nights -> Watching a movie really was an excuse to make out and everyone knew that.
Concert -> "Just wanted to wish you good luck."
Tattoos -> Seunghyun looked at the ink on Jiyong’s skin and imagined running his fingers over it

They were so close in these drabbles. Yet so far away. It was cute, and a little sad. I really like this though. Anytime you want to write more I'll happily read it.

I just feel that gtop is full of paradoxes, and "so close yet so far away" is definitely one of them. Another one being "best friends yet anything but just friends" (because: romantic feelings).

There's probably more to come because I enjoy writing these two, so keep an eye out for it :-)

Totally agree with the commenter before about being "so close but far away" and your "best friends yet anything but just friends" is so accurate it hurts.

I love these drabbles just like I loved the last ones. Ahhh I just love your writing.

Gaahh!! I love that whole 'just on the edge of something actually happening' thing that you've got going on here! I think you really capture that particular awkwardness of two people who don't really know what their next move is without turning them into school children who don't know how to handle a crush (well not really awkwardness, but awkwardness - you know?). I particularly love the one about tattoos - probably because all the rest are told from Jiyong's perspective and so seeing that Seunghyun's on the same page and that it's not all just in Jiyong's head is really cool (and also because the idea of Seunghyun choosing Jiyong's tattoos is hilarious).

One question - are these all supposed to be set in the same universe of 'Jiyong and Seunghyun are idiots who need to do something about their mutual crush' or are they completely unrelated?

Thanks so much! Oh man it's kind of weird because I ship gtop with a passion yet somehow I always end up writing about that "will-or-won't-they" stage. That unspoken tension between friendship and more is just really interesting to explore

hgjhghjghfyt so freaking cute and sweet. feels like they're at that place where they both fell hard but have yet to confess, especially in the last drabble...kinda beautiful to see the way they express how much they care, without being able to actually touch or kiss...loved it!

Thanks so much! I just love that place they are in -- I mean, eventually they're going to have to make a move but for now I'll happily explore this further ;) It's interesting to try to show feelings in something other than touches or straightforward words. When you do that all the time they might become 'hollow' gestures while with subtlety you can convey a whole lot of different things, you know what I mean? That's how I experience it when I write, anyhow.

i know exactly what you mean, i love that stage of the relationship too. feels like it offers much more space to explore the mutual feelings and interesting interactions, as opposed to the established relationship stage where, though one can still write beautifully about, it's more about maintaining the love that led them to get together in the first place (but not just that...still...you know what i mean :p)
yeah, i especially like the way you write, also the way you understand their perspectives so well :D fighting!! looking forward to what you'll write next!
