or did you just play the japanese version? I TRIED TO PLAY A JAPANESE VERSION OF THE KURO DS GAME ONCE, AND IT DIDN'T WORK OUT point being i'm hoping you got an english version.

You can download the game itself from aarinfantasy, if you don't have it already. Mostly just follow those instructions, it's not hard to get the translator running. And it's not perfect english, but a team has been working on a translation for years, and it's on it's way to being done. :D
