[ Alf is making his rounds when seemingly out of nowhere (though he was obviously distracted) a snowball strikes him. The impact causes him to take one step back with a gasp, and it's clear from the bewildered look on his face that he wasn't expecting it. And he wasn't expecting it to be snow of all things, which is why he stares at the powdered surface of his shoulder. ]

[ He looks at his surroundings. It doesn't take long for him to notice the guy on the tree, and when Alf does, he simply looks. Whoa, dude. ]
