[Rangiku is in town today - and probably has been for quite a few days since she'll be where Gin is - but that doesn't mean that she won't go for some walks by herself sometimes.

...at which point she sees something strange sticking out the corner of a bench. She peers at it more curiously, and can just barely make the outline of a boy out behind it.

...sigh. What a stupid place to hide. She walks over and is tempted to poke him in those nose, but doesn't want to scare whoever it is too badly. So she just sits on the bench instead.

I don't remember where I'm from. [True enough. Especially since she just figures this is another weird layer of Soul Society where shinigami don't mmatter as much.]

Why not? Do a lot of people not know that here? [ She knows where things are; that already puts her back onto Superior Little Girl level.

And it's not that he asks partially out of the urge to dawdle, of course not. ]
